Les Halles de Paul Bocuse is a gourmet covered market in Lyon.  It has nearly five dozen stalls selling countless gourmet delights including Pastries, wine bars, oysters and seafood,  fish, .img_0660chocolate, cheeses, meats and breads.  There are several tiny places to eat within the market.  It was begun in 1970 and is named after a legendary figure in French and International cooking.  Ninety -five percent of the shops are run by their owners.

The entire market is a feast for the eyes as well as the nose and the taste buds…a fitting market for the celebrated food capitol of France, Lyon.img_0629
